"The Few Things You Really Need to Remember"

"The Few Things You Really Need to Remember"

Remember that your presence is a present to the world.
Remember that you are a unique and unrepeatable creation.
Remember that your life can be what you want it to be.
Remember to take the days just one at a time.
Remember to count your blessings, not your troubles.
Remember that you will make it through whatever comes along.
Remember that most of the answers you need are within you.
Remember those dreams waiting to be realized.
Remember that decisions are too important to leave to chance.
Remember to always reach for the best that is within you.
Remember that nothing wastes more energy than worry.
Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.
Remember that the longer you carry a grudge, the heavier it gets.
Remember not to take things too seriously.
Remember to laugh.
Remember that a little love goes a long way.
Remember that a lot of it goes forever!
Remember that happiness is more often found in giving than getting.
Remember that life's treasures are people, not things.
Remember that miracles can still happen.
Remember you are you and always celebrate you!
Remember that there is someone to intercede for us. Our Patron, Saint Jude.

" For a Reason "

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there, they serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figure out who you are or who you want to become.

Sometimes things happen to you and at the time they may seem horrible, painful and unfair, but in reflection you realize that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential strength.

Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good or bad luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. It would be safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless.

If someone hurts you, betrays you or breaks your heart, forgive them, for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom you open your heart to. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because they are teaching you to love and opening your heart and eyes to things you would have never seen or felt without them.

Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you either. You can make of your life anything you wish. Create your own life and then go out and live it. But at all our times remember that, God is always near and so close to us.

Jesus heals a man who was blind

Jesus heals a man who was blind from his birth. The Pharisees were upset on seeing this miracle. Jesus performed this on a day of rest. The people around him doubted and even raised question's that, was this man really blind ?

Though it can be difficult for us to fully comprehend God’s work, this miracle reveals how powerful God is. He waits for us to ask for His help to free each one of us from spiritual blindness.

St. Jude, give us eyes of faith to see God’s glory. Amen.

Your light must shine before others

“Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Heavenly Father.”

Just as the natural light, that shine and lights us to see the world around us, the light of Christ enables us to see and work toward God’s kingdom. Our mission is to spread His light to others.

St. Jude, guide us so that we may share God’s light and truth with others throughout our life. Amen

“You cannot serve both God and mammon.”

Jesus tells us that our hearts only have room for one kind of love: God’s love or the love of something else. We cannot love both equally, for we “will either hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other.” God wants us to love Him with our whole heart, not just a part of it.

St. Jude, help me to love God with my whole heart. Intercede for me so that nothing else takes His place. Amen.

‘Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you’

Jesus promises his disciples the gift of peace: ‘Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you’. This promise is true for us too. Jesus offers us a peace that comes from his presence and love deep within. It is a peace nothing can take away, a peace that will last for all eternity. The peace that Jesus gives does not mean that we will be free from troubles and suffering: it means that even in the middle of our troubles we can know the presence of Christ and can be assured that he loves us infinitely and will never abandon us.

Lord Jesus, you are our peace: you reconcile us to God and one another, and comfort us in times of trouble. Saint Jude, May the Peace of your Cousin Lord Jesus Christ never leave our hearts as we await the time when we will enjoy the eternal peace of heaven. Amen.

Hope & Patience

Simeon waited his whole life to meet Jesus. He never lost hope and patiently waited as the Holy Spirit said “that he should not see death before he had seen the Christ of the Lord.”

When Mary and Joseph took Jesus to the temple, Simeon immediately recognized Jesus. Simeon proclaimed that He would be “a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and glory for your people in Israel.” He tells us Jesus came for salvation for everyone in the world.

St. Jude, help me to be patient like Simeon. May I recognize the Lord’s presence in my life and be ready to respond to him. Amen.

Faith is the foundation of our relationship with God

We all know that faith is the foundation of our relationship with God. Sometimes we face not one, but many challenges that make living our Faith difficult. But as we work through our challenges, we must remember that we are never alone. God is always there for us.

St. Jude, Help me to be full of hope in my faith. May my Faith in Jesus Christ grow stronger and stronger each day, through your intercession. Amen.

“Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give will never thirst.”

“Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give will never thirst.”

When Jesus meets the Samaritan woman at the well, He goes against many prejudices of the day to talk to her. By doing this, He demonstrates that everyone is worthy of God’s love. We are all created in God’s image to love one another.

St. Jude, help me to set aside my prejudices so that I may love others. Amen.

HIS PRESENCE UNRECOGNIZED

Among you stands one you do not know. John 1:26

For years, a priceless statue stood unrecognized in the foyer of a New York mansion owned by the French embassy.

It was badly damaged, but it was kept there because it had a charm about it that made it a good conversation piece.

Then, one day the statue caught the attention of Dr. Brandt, a professor at New York Un.

Suddenly, she saw that it resembled a long-lost work of Michelangelo. She was right. It turned out to be "Cupid," which he had sculpted in his youth.

The story of the statue makes a good parable of God. Like the statue, God is present in our midst, but unrecognized by most people.

But every once in a while someone recognizes God's presence, as Dr. Brandt recognized Michelangelo's lost "Cupid."

Why do so many people, especially today, fail to recognize God's presence among us?

God often visits us, but most of the time we are not at home.
